Posting a gig is free. Businesses pay the agreed price plus a 5% platform fee, shown before you pay. We also take a connection fee from the freelancer: 20% on the first gig with a business, and it drops to 10% on every gig after that with the same business. We'd rather you find someone great and keep them. That's the model, there's nothing else in it.
