Born on the island of Crete in Greece. Yianni moved to Sydney in 1999 and completed a Visual Media Arts degree from the University of Sydney. His formal education laid a foundation of both the technical and artistic scope of photography. Focusing on the world of commercial and editorial photography, Yianni has had incredible opportunities to capture inspiring subjects and a host of entertainers, actors and public figures. For the past 23 years, he has collaborated with a wide range of clients including magazines and TV, with both big and small production. Yianni is constantly inspired by his collaborations with clients, subjects and the study of advancements in photography itself.
